Lowestoft Town Cricket Club is the most Easterly cricket club in the UK and has been playing cricket for over 125 years. Lowestoft Town CC is a ClubMark accredited cricket club as well as being denoted a "Focus Club" for Suffolk County Board.

Through it's unique geographical position, the club also retains strong ties with the Norfolk cricket structure with the majority of cricket played by the club's teams being in Norfolk.

Through the tireless work of it's volunteers, the support of it's valued sponsors, vice-presidents and supporters, the club is committed to offering cricket, to it's membership and the wider community, that is challenging, safe and enjoyable whilst retaining a "Club Centred" approach. The below extract from the club's constitution (full version available in the postings section), outlines the club's aims and objectives:

The aims and objectives of Lowestoft Town Cricket Club are to offer coaching and competitive opportunities in cricket at the highest possible level and to promote the Club within the community within a safe environment for all of its members and guests.  It will ensure a duty of care to members of the Club in a way that is fair to everyone, ensuring that both current and future members receive fair and equal treatment.
